La Trinquette

Horrible experience. The waitress was extremely unpleasant while speaking to an elderly person. We then had the misfortune of ordering a "farmhouse" pizza. After a short while, a waitress brought a pizza she called a "Savoyarde." I reiterated that we had ordered a "farmhouse," and she told me it was actually a farmhouse pizza. After a few bites, we realized it was indeed a Savoyarde, so we asked for confirmation that it was a farmhouse pizza. She assured us that it was, and that the bits of chicken we had been searching for were under the toppings. A few more bites later, we asked another waiter to change the pizza, and after a few minutes, he brought us the same pizza with some dry bits of chicken carelessly placed on top. Even the terrace is questionable and of very poor quality. A very mediocre restaurant; only go there in an emergency, especially considering the number of pizzerias in the area.

I never leave reviews, but given all the negative ones, I have to! First off, the welcome is warm and the staff very friendly! (They even go the extra mile.) No waiting, very fast service, and the food is excellent! A great atmosphere in a setting that really evokes summer... In short, I don't understand these negative messages; don't hesitate to go!

Seeing the previous negative reviews, we wondered if we had eaten at the same place. We ate there for lunch today and thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a good selection, the portions were simple but generous and tasty. The service was incredibly fast, especially the drinks, which arrived just one minute after we ordered—surprising but much appreciated. And the servers, despite the crowd and the rain, were all pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere was very nice; we weren't crammed in like sardines, which was also a plus.

Avoid this restaurant at all costs… Pizzas on a base that's barely a tortilla and flavorless toppings deserve no better. And the kicker: €4.80 for an extra salad in a bowl! The service was fine, but the food is appalling.

We ordered two Italian sandwiches with a side of fries to go, and they were delicious! The sandwiches were generous, very tasty, and made with quality ingredients. The fries were excellent. The service was warm, friendly, and impeccable from start to finish. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and the location. A great place that we highly recommend before or after a swim!

Disappointing… Expensive for mediocre quality. Friendly service.

Low-quality food. The salads are a joke. Very overrated, it's really typical of Annecy restaurants: expensive and mediocre food. As for the service, it's the bare minimum. The setting is really cheap, even though it's on a terrace not far from the lake (I didn't say right on the lake). For tourists in camper vans or those who aren't fussy.

We went for dinner on Friday with my wife and daughter. We had fried food with fries and a salmon escalope. We enjoyed our meal, unlike many other customers if I'm to believe the reviews… a special mention for the waiter (a future interior designer) who was very friendly. Go and see for yourself…

We had dinner on Saturday evening, July 18th, a group of five. One of the pizzas we ordered was undercooked. The crust was raw. Contrary to what is stated on the menu, the pizzas are not homemade. My fries were overcooked and undercooked. We were disappointed.

A very good restaurant, at least for the salads which are extra generous and well-stocked! A very warm welcome from the manager, the staff, etc. We were well received with our little dog, and we even went back the evening of our departure! We only ate salads and homemade desserts. Thank you again!

I went there with about twenty friends. The service was excellent, the staff were extremely kind, smiling, helpful, and very patient 🤣. The food was very good. Good value for money. I recommend it.

We wanted to watch the World Cup match on Tuesday, July 14th. Unfortunately, there were no more seats available, which I completely understand. However, what is truly unacceptable is the attitude of the two women at the reception desk. They were particularly unpleasant, haughty, and aggressive, not only with us but also with all the other customers present. Refusing entry when a venue is full is part of their job, but that in no way justifies disrespecting those who arrive. Professional service depends as much on the quality of the service as on how customers are addressed. That evening, the lack of courtesy and respect overshadowed everything else. This is regrettable, as this attitude gives a very poor impression of the establishment.

Still as good and very friendly as ever.
