Le Lilas Rose

Passing through Annecy 3 or 4 times a year, this is our go-to restaurant, whether for a fondue (the porcini mushroom one is amazing) or a tartiflette or raclette. There are other options, but we love cheese! 😉

I do not recommend the "all-you-can-eat" raclette. I had to wait 5 to 15 minutes each time for someone to take my cheese plate and meagerly top it up with half a potato of melted cheese. If you order this dish for €27, you don't have the option to serve yourself. The restaurant seems to suffer from understaffing and disorganization. The woman in charge of the raclette was clearly overwhelmed, and her service was cold and unpleasant, with random portion sizes thrown onto the plate. I was also somewhat surprised by the number of potatoes and the size of the charcuterie platter, which was practically nonexistent when it arrived. Around my seventh plate, after an hour and twenty minutes of eating, my potatoes were lukewarm. The raclette attendant came by and asked if I wanted another plate. As I was starting to get hungry, I asked for a little more time. She rushed me, saying the cheese was burning, so I told her no. What I didn't know was that the raclette machine had been turned off and I wouldn't be allowed any more cheese. The other servers were great, but for €27, I got the equivalent of seven slices of raclette from a supermarket, a meager plate of charcuterie, four potatoes, and a taste of Western European rationing in the USSR. Very disappointed with this experience, I would only recommend it if the restaurant is nearly empty.

We had the best time here! We requested a table for 2 by the window inside, and we had a view of the river, and overall an extremely pleasant experience. The food was of high quality and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely come back! :)

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, with a special mention to Ivana, Laura, and Pierre for their kindness. We went on a Saturday evening and, despite the crowds, the service was quick and efficient. We also appreciated the option of unlimited fries. The meat served on the hot stone was excellent, tender, and of very high quality. A very good experience; we will gladly return!

A wonderful restaurant in a beautiful, quiet location on a side street. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the tuna, and it was excellent. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

A small, unpretentious restaurant, friendly and welcoming! I can say the same about the service and the food, by the way! Perch fillets with red berry crumble (delicious). Excellent value for money for a tourist town like Annecy... I should mention that I live near Annecy, so I'm not a tourist 😅 I'll definitely be back!

Excellent food and a friendly, welcoming waiter

The pizza was also very delicious. The tomato sauce was dripping down, giving me an exotic experience different from pizza in Korea. Rather than saying a specific dish was tasty, the food seemed excellent overall, and everyone was friendly except for a few staff members.
