Le Café de la Poste

A second visit to this establishment, a year later. The warm welcome, the carefully curated vintage decor, and the smiles of the entire team are still there and make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. The menu is very well done, both simple and full of originality, brimming with creativity and brimming with the freshness of local produce. The result: an explosion of delicate flavors and some truly wonderful discoveries. In just two years, Café de la Poste has become a sure bet and a must-visit in the region. A real success for the Chef and his team. Well done, I won't wait another year to come back!

This establishment is difficult to define. The entrance features a bar and decor reminiscent of old village cafes, but the welcome is rather unfriendly (perhaps due to the young owner?). The portions are tiny (one fish fillet with six fresh green beans!), and the very "boho-chic" concept is quite disconcerting, as it's far from a Michelin-starred restaurant and certainly not the simple, authentic place we were hoping for. While the sauces and seasonings are excellent, they don't compensate for the small portions. €26 for lunch in Naves is simply not worth it.
