Beautiful room, beautiful view, but the table wasn't stable! The food was good, but the dishes arrived barely warm. The service... a major weakness! The staff were very pleasant and smiling, but not up to par at all! I asked for advice on a cocktail, and the response was: "I haven't tasted them, but I like this ingredient, so it must be good..." I even touched the menu (and yes, I find that shocking). The appetizer platter didn't arrive at the same time as the drinks. There were two of us, and I sent back my coffee because by the time they brought me cold milk, it had gone cold! As for payment, I don't think the location of the cash register is very practical. It's in the dining room, right at the entrance, but not ideal. And again, we had to let the people behind us go ahead and wait for the person who had served us... In conclusion, your signature dish looked tempting all evening, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back to try it because I was truly disappointed by the service. I repeat that the staff is very pleasant, but a restaurant of your caliber should have trained staff.

What a lovely time we spent at this restaurant that my husband and I discovered. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the service, the food. A wonderful experience with a breathtaking view of our beautiful Lake Annecy.

The service at the bar for aperitifs is very slow; after waiting, the aperitif is barely served before the first course arrives—no coordination whatsoever. We had been warned about the service, and we were able to confirm it. Next to us, a table of seven waited a very long time for their cocktails, and the first course arrived as soon as they'd taken their first sip. 🥲

A most pleasant moment

Dinner with friends. Superb lake view, a small but high-quality menu. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is excellent and beautifully presented, from appetizer to dessert. In short, a lovely place.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary, requesting a table outside with a lake view, and we had an unforgettable time. Thank you.

Dinner experience on July 10th. The welcome was adequate, but we had to wait for the tables that arrived after us to be served before we received the menus and placed our aperitif order. The amuse-bouche was decent, the trout starter was bland, and we looked for wasabi but couldn't find it. It was a shame we had to ask several times for bread. The beef was very good but slightly overcooked for my partner, who had ordered it medium. The wine service was almost entirely self-service. The dessert was fresh and pleasant. The noise level was very high at the can opener, which could be a nuisance for the rest of the restaurant, La Boussole, but that's a deliberate choice. The chairs are worn (with holes). The service was passable but could have been more attentive, especially since the restaurant wasn't full. I think the price-quality ratio is a bit high in this case, even though the view is superb; there are areas for improvement, particularly in the service.

Hearty and excellent dishes, breathtaking view of the lake. Excellent children's menu with fish and vegetables, and fruit and ice cream for dessert – a welcome change from the usual steak and fries.
