Le Marché de la Seiche

I attended a car meet organized in the La Seiche parking lot in Sevrier, and the atmosphere was fantastic. There were some truly beautiful vehicles to admire, both classic and modern, with enthusiasts always eager to chat and share their knowledge. The organization was excellent, the setting was lovely, and the event unfolded in a friendly, respectful, and convivial atmosphere. A great time for all car lovers. I'd love to do it again at the next meet!

I never leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to warn you this time. I don't understand the high rating for this place. It used to be "okay," with a decent crowd, free entry, and fun themed evenings. Now, it's just €10 for an evening in a RUNAWAY with incredibly unpleasant staff. It's high time this place was sold to more competent and helpful people because it's getting worse and worse. The "flea markets" these days are just four stalls competing fiercely. It's unacceptable and sad to see this place so poorly managed. It was a beautiful place originally, well-organized, and had a team that clearly wanted to be there (not to mention the nonexistent or completely outdated communication). 90% of the place is no longer in use; you arrive to find boxes and a mess with the radio playing in the background, and an EMPTY and DIRTY space. And they ask us to pay €10? I'll only come back when it changes owners. Don't waste your time coming there, it's a joke.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm too disappointed to let this go... I have to make a list of what's wrong: - Burgers: They made a mistake on the menu + didn't specify that the bun is multigrain (they're good, but someone in our group who didn't like their bun had to leave their order) + Tacos without the requested sauces (no sauces at all) and dripping with oil. - Alice's Deceptions: Really, really good, but the poor woman is doing everything alone while being harassed by her own children, a 1 hour 20 minute wait! We weren't even hungry anymore in the end... - Reception for filling out the card: two people who have all the time in the world to chat amongst themselves, but not to lend a hand to the snack bar two meters away? What are they even there for? Why have a group card system if it's going to be so individualistic? And on top of that, they're giving out false information! Oh no, sorry, I'm being harsh. Besides not doing much, they act like cowboys without even analyzing the situation. They're yelling at kids playing an arcade game two meters from their reception table??? It's more of a layout problem than a kids problem in this case… I'm sorry to send this message, which is admittedly harsh, but factual… It's a shame to leave with a "we won't be back and we won't recommend it." 😕

It's a unique concept where you need a top-up card to pay. That evening, we couldn't get any of the platters listed on the card. This is the second time we've tried it, but we're not convinced.

Great place, with different dining options, different atmospheres, and different activities. Cool staff & a special mention for Alice's Crimes, which I highly recommend you try. It's delicious.

Okay, however, improvements to the infrastructure and sound system should be considered! We had a good time there!

Nice and cool place. The bar service is great. The layout of the room needs improvement. Similarly, the management's impulsive choices regarding bands and DJs for dancing aren't very well thought out, which can affect attendance. Evenings now cost €10 including a drink on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, putting it above the level charged by the best establishments in the area. There used to be a wide selection of food from four vendors, now reduced to two with above-average prices. The paid dance classes aren't managed by the establishment, creating a lot of confusion about payment, and the providers end up not getting paid due to non-payment from users. The management sometimes behaves aggressively and unjustifiably towards customers and vendors, which could harm the establishment's long-term development. 😱

The perfect spot for an evening with friends in Sevrier to have a drink, listen to a rock concert, and dance to the Beatles. Luc, the owner, is very friendly, as are the staff at the bar and in the kitchen. The space is large and you can move around easily. We all really enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back! Thank you.

It's a great place, and every Sunday there's a bachata class followed by a dancing party. Super atmosphere, the people are really nice! I recommend it.

The staff were friendly at first. We came with my class. The meal wasn't anything special. Furthermore, at the end, they initially quoted us a total of €230, then €236, when in reality it cost us €188. One last thing: they don't know how to issue invoices.

The food wasn't very good quality, and the service was really poor (he tried to charge us €236 instead of €188, so we had to recalculate everything with him). The atmosphere was a bit odd.
