Super good service, nice food, quiet environment. Clean!

I had called over a month in advance to reserve a table at 8 p.m. on the edge of the terrace for my partner's 30th birthday. When we arrived, we were seated in the second row. Disappointed, we simply asked if it was possible to double-check, but the young woman never came back to us. Oh well. A little later, a table in the first row became available. We then asked if it would be possible to move, and we were told there was no problem. Great! Unfortunately, our food arrived at the same time. Feeling a bit embarrassed, we explained to the waitress that we needed to change tables. That's when the manager, I think, came back to us and told us loudly that he "can't do everything." In front of everyone, in that tone... the atmosphere was rather unpleasant. He then quickly set the table, without a word. Despite our repeated "thank yous," we received neither a response nor a smile. The rest of the meal went very well, and the food was excellent. However, we felt like we were intruding until we left. Despite the small birthday gesture, this experience left us cold and doesn't make us want to return. For an establishment of this caliber, it's the first time we've felt so uncomfortable and almost embarrassed simply for asking for something. Unfortunately, it's the service, not the food, that will prevent us from coming back.

Another magical dinner at Cottage Bise! We spent a truly timeless evening with our friends, seated on the terrace overlooking the lake. The dinner was, as always, excellent, and the service was impeccable without being stuffy. This restaurant truly rivals a Michelin-starred establishment, and it certainly won't be our last visit! We arrived unexpectedly without a reservation on July 19th and were welcomed with great warmth, receiving excellent service with attentive staff, and enjoying exceptionally high-quality products. Thank you again for this wonderful culinary experience and lovely evening.
